Avoiding stomach pain in Ramadan

The stomach secretes more gastric acid when it remains empty for a long time. The pain increases when drinking soft drinks, coffee, and foods containing a lot of pepper.

The solution:

  • Avoid foods that increase stomach acidities, such as citrus and high-fat foods.
  • Do not skip the suhoor meal.
  • Do not drink tea or coffee at suhoor time.

Do not sleep immediately after eating.
